Voices for Change is a research project launched by Bonny Downs Community Association to help capture the experiences of Newham residents from the pandemic, give people an opportunity to discuss their hopes and priorities for the future, and allow us to shape our future BDCA services for the community in response. We are keen to involve as broad and diverse a group of peopleas possible, from all ages and backgrounds across the borough.
The project will run until March and funding has been provided by The National Lottery Community Fund. You can read more on our website here.
Ways for the community to get involved
You can use one or both of our online tools - Online Questionnaire which will take around 10 minutes to complete and the MY Story tool , which is a very light touch way of simply allowing people to relate they stories in they own words
BDCA are also arranging some more in-depth discussion sessions for those who are willing to go a little deeper. These include focus groups (which we are arranging around our face-to-face activities at BDCA as well as online) and more detailed 1-1 interviews conducted by our conversation facilitators (mostly online and by phone).
