Residents choose important issues for new Citizens’ Assembly to discuss

Newham Council are inviting residents to choose one key local topic they want Newham’snewpermanent Citizens’ Assembly to debate this summer by Visiting the Citizens' Assemblies section on the council's website You will find details of how to select an issue you are most concerned about and have up until3 Mayto make your choice. The council is in the process of randomly selecting 50 people to join the Citizens’ Assembly, which is the first permanent one in England, to discuss the issue and recommend ways the council should tackle it, to help make Newham a better, happier and healthier place to live. You have until 23 May 2021 to choose your 3 priorities. Those selected will influence how local funding of £100,000 will be spent on community projects this summer. Don't miss out, sign up to Newham co-create here and submit your vote.
