Last 9 days to apply for European Settlement Scheme to stay living in Newham

ACT now to ensure people living in Newham who are European passport holders or citizens, can stay in the UK after the end of June.

Your organisation probably works with a number of people living in Newham who are European passport holders or citizens. Following Brexit, anyone in this situation must register themselves and their partners and children, in order to stay in the UK after the end of June, e.g. in 9 DAY'S TIME.

There is a concern that thousands of people living in Newham may be unaware they need to register to stay in the UK. In particular, people are unaware they need to register their children and those who have lived in the UK for many years. Please help by making sure you tell all your service users about this change - please don't assume that they already have their status to stay in the UK or that they will have a British Passport/Citizenship.
