Newham Council is helping community run groups / projects and voluntary organisations mark Dying Matters Week (10-16 May) 2021 in a way that is meaningful to them and we are offering a one-off payment of up to £100 per project to help that happen. So whether you are a community garden and you want to buy some new plants to create your very own “memorial area”; or an arts club that would like to help members make personal remembrance pieces, submit your application including a brief outline of what you plan to do.
The Council have a maximum budget of £2,000 that will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to those projects approved.
