Final 23 days for EU citizens to register to stay in the UK

Please help spread the word and support your friends, neighbours and service users to Stay Settled in Newham.

EU/EEA citizens and family members who were resident in the UK by 31 December 2020 will have to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) by 30 June 2021 to secure their right to stay in the UK. This includes EU citizen children, who have to apply separately but can link their application to their parents' to get the same status.

This change in the law can affect people who have lived in the UK for a very long time, but have never registered before for British citizenship or a British passport or for long term right to remain in the UK.

This video explains the situation and what you need to do.
