Covid-19 Information for families and carers following a bereavement

Who we are

We are the Pandemic Multi-Agency Response Team (PMART). We are here to support you whilst ensuring practical arrangements are put in place to see your loved one is treated with dignity and respect. We recognise that the death of a loved one can be among the most difficult moments that any of us will face in our lives, and we can help you deal with the processes, including the legal aspects, that now need to take place.

We are extremely sorry for your loss and realise this will be an incredibly difficult time.

Due to the national emergency we are experiencing, we need to share some important information with you, your family and friends.

We know that this may be distressing for those who are grieving, but it is vitally important for the safety of everyone. This leaflet provides some important information that will help

explain the next steps, answers some of your questions and guide you to the extra help and support that is available.

Please know that we are also working with leaders from all the major faith groups, non-faith groups and community leaders who are supporting the processes set out here.
