Can you help shape health care in East London?

North East London Clinical Commissioning Group is looking to recruit an associate lay member to champion the diverse voices of all local people as we continue to build an effective and sustainable local health and care system. They have launched a recruitment drive for this post and we want to encourage as many of Newham’s residents as possible to apply for the role. (Recruitment of Associate Lay Member for patient and public engagement - Newham - NHS North East London CCG) This link outlines the role and what they are looking for, and includes links to the role description and the application form. The advert is open until 9th May, with interviews to follow later in May. They are looking for members of the public who are passionate about engaging patients and the public in improving local health and wellbeing, with relevant experience. The role will work across the CCG and all of its partners, including NHS providers, councils, and the voluntary and community sector within Newham. It will play a key part of the health and care leadership team in the borough, driving innovative and creative forms of engagement as well as bringing the latest thinking on how to improve equality, sustainability, and social value.
