Expected dates for Interviewing successful candidates (Interviews will be held via Zoom) Thursday 25th June

Job title: Community Connectors x 2 (4 days per week)

Salary: £23,500 per annum (for 4 days per week)


The role is about supporting people to achieve better mental health and well-being, increasing independence and reducing reliance on services.


Community Connectors will provide person-centred support, working alongside clinical and other statutory /third sector services.


The role will include: offering focused support to groups and individuals with the aim of building knowledge, skills and resilience in people, as well as encouraging people to access existing groups and activities.

Helping service users to build their confidence and ability to access all community services, agencies and opportunities available to them.


Enabling people to explore the situation affecting their well-being, and guiding them to appropriate resources that may help, including talking therapies, benefits advice, or an introduction to a local community group.


The post holders will be expected to be creative and innovative and bring successful practical approaches to the role.


Both of these posts come with a full training package from Mind to upskill the candidates throughout the year.
