One Newham facilitates coordination across the community, voluntary and faith sector. This page tells you about the One Newham Ambassadors.
One Newham Ambassadors are passionate about collaborating with others in Newham to make a difference. They have volunteered their time to play a range of roles that enable the voluntary, community and faith sector in the borough to be connected.
The type of roles that One Newham Ambassadors carry out as volunteers is:
· Attending significant meetings with Newham Council and other Statutory Bodies where they represent the sector, bringing their knowledge and expertise of Newham residents and service delivery
· Collaborate with other One Newham Ambassadors to develop and launch new services to meet gaps in need. This may include collaborating on joint grant applications or contract tenders.
· Communicating with other Ambassadors and the wider sector to share latest information and also to gather insights and evidence.
· Some Ambassadors lead Special Interest or Theme Groups.
